Our Story
We are the brothers Michael and Matthew Van Praet. Together we are the co-owners and executives of Plumbing For Life Inc.
We were born and raised in London, Ontario. We are very proud to operate our business in the city we call home.
Our father first started the plumbing business in 1997. He built it up from nothing through dedication and effort, providing for his family by serving clients with integrity and honesty.
We are determined to continue his legacy of plumbing excellence, customer service, passion, integrity, and a disciplined work ethic. And we intend to bring innovation and constant improvement to the company so that it can ascend to new levels of excellence in workmanship and customer service.
We spent much of our younger days working alongside our father during his plumbing jobs. During those times, he shared his immense wealth of knowledge with us, making us the skilled tradesmen we are today.
Our Father's Legacy
Our father, Jeffrey Van Praet, started this plumbing business from nothing in 1997. He worked relentlessly as a dedicated plumber and for long hours to support our family. Jeff’s legacy is not just work ethic but also a deep caring for people. He cared about the satisfaction of all customers and he aimed to provide the highest quality plumbing service possible to everyone in and around London, Ontario.
Almost 30 years later, our company has grown, but our mission has remained the same.

Matt Van Praet
Chief Executive Officer
Matt Van Praet is a licensed plumber with years of experience. Driven by a relentless inner drive to improve, he takes pride in providing the best customer experience possible.
His goals include growing Plumbing For Life into a London powerhouse and starting a family of his own.
Mike Van Praet
Chief Operating Officer
Mike Van Praet is an experienced licensed plumber with over 10 years experience. Striving for excellence in matters small and large, he takes pride in providing the highest quality plumbing service possible to all clients of Plumbing For Life.
In addition to being a plumber Mike has been instrumental in the planning and execution of plumbing systems for thousands of construction projects.
His priorities in life include upholding the family legacy and providing a stable life for his wife and daughter.
